Australia Skilled Immigration Points Calculation for 2022

Australia is the dream country for many overseas graduates. Australia is now the third most popular English-speaking destination for overseas students, after only the United States and the United Kingdom. Many international students want to study there because of the cultural diversity, welcoming natives, and high quality of education. They want to have a standard of living with good employment prospects. Australia has always welcomed international students whole heartily. Australia has finally opened its border for students after the coronavirus wave. With this, the opportunity, as well as competition, arises among the skilled workers. Let’s talk about the essential points that need to be kept in mind before starting your visa process.

Age: Applicants must be under 45 years old at the time of the DHA invitation.

English language: You must be fluent in English to work in Australia (at least competent). The International English Language Testing Method is used to assess this. Applicants who are not native English speakers must take a language exam.

Nominated occupation: When you apply, you nominate a skilled occupation that matches your talents and qualifications. Your proposed occupation must be on one of the appropriate Skilled Occupation Lists.

Assessment of skills: Before applying, you must evaluate your abilities by the Australian evaluating authority assigned to assess your specified occupation. You must have gotten a positive answer.

Health inspection: You must get a medical examination and demonstrate that you generally have excellent health. An Australian Embassy-registered doctor must do this.

Character evaluation: You must be of excellent character, which usually entails a criminal background check.

EOI: An expression of interest (EOI) must have been submitted.

A General Skilled Migration application should not be continued if you do not meet these minimum requirements.
